Interdisciplinary RPg program in Biomedical Engineering (BME)
A new label “Biomedical Engineering” (BME) as a multidisciplinary discipline is NOW AVAILABLE in the Research Postgraduate (RPG) (PhD & MPhil) application!
This new BME RPg program aims to:
- Facilitate cross- and multi-disciplinary research that integrates technologies to meet the clinical needs in medicine and dentistry.
- Through the cross-faculty mentorship (Engineering, Dentistry, and Medicine), students could have in-depth and comprehensive training that aligns with the rapidly expanding biomedical industries.
Interested in knowing more? During this PhD & MPhil Virtual Info Week 2022, we will have a talk introducing HKU’s BME frontier research and the information of this new programme, given by Prof. Kevin Tsia (Professor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering; Programme Director of BEng of Biomedical Engineering).
